摘要: Calculations are carried out first for steady fully developed laminar flow on a slope. Application of this result to field data published in previous paper by another author suggests that many debris flows laminar. Then singular perturbation techniques used obtain first‐order solutions unsteady non‐uniform from point source steep Solutions obtained both and turbulent flows, it is found the model gives best description laboratory investigator. A number differences observed behavior outer (kinematic wave) flow, suggested probably not possible describe all avalanches with models. It also more comparisons need be made between theoretical results measurements.
