摘要: Numerous studies on the ability of herbivorous Anatidae to digest fibre from a variety food types (foliage, seeds, tubers) have yielded variable results. Herbivorous ducks and geese capacity some components (between 0% 85%, depending study com ponents analysed), in particular hem icellulose. H em icellulose may be partially digested by acid hydrolysis early digestive tract, small particles fluid digesta obtained undergo lim ited ferm entation caecae (with aid symbiotic microflora). Two sources variation digestibility identified are discussed: experim ental factors (in p articular dif.
