Thermal force on vortices in superconducting lead films

摘要: Abstract The Nernst voltage in the intermediate state of superconducting lead films has been measured as a function film thickness. thickness ranged between 5 and 110 k A. Above about 10 A, decreases with increasing For 14 A film, entropy per flux quantum associated vortex unit length was determined found to be 1–2 orders magnitude larger than value calculated for very large bundle, where surface energy contribution is negligible.
