摘要: The polymerization of 1-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone (VP) mechanochemically initiated by grinding silica was investigated in a wet stirred media mill. itself proceeds from the without any additional initiator. We have found that amount grafted polymer increases with an increase total ground surface. suspension polymer-modified nanoparticles showed high colloidal stability water because appearance hydrophilic PVP on surface during reactive grinding. Because SiO2-graft-PVP are biocompatible, developed nanocomposite material can be particular interest for performance membranes and fabrication biocompatible hydrogels enhanced mechanical properties porosity. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
