摘要: A simple transit-time theory is used in which nonmagnetic inclusions polycrystalline YIG limit the mean path length of spin waves. Agreement between and experiment found for sizes 25 μm 12 respectively. The results suggest that dipole-dominated waves can propagate across grain boundaries. Previous attempts to fit experimental grain-size failed, because pores rather than boundaries free low-anisotropy materials.
