摘要: Objectives: To compare the amount of newly formed bone after sinus floor augmentation with two different particle sizes bovine mineral (BBM) using clinical, micro-computerized tomography (CT) and histological techniques. Methods: Bilateral augmentations were performed in 10 patients. Six to 9 months later, samples retrieved analyzed. Results: Results: Both groups not vertical height achieved augmentation, post-operative complications maximal torque for insertion implants. Micro-CT measurements could detect a statistically significant difference volume between (with tendency new more small granules group). Histomorphometric analysis revealed that both granule produced same pattern formation, surrounding graft granules, producing shape network, “bridging” BBM particles. Multi-nucleated giant cells, probably osteoclasts, observed directly on surface groups. The osteoclast-like cells preferred small-size particles large large-size group. Conclusion: preformed equally aim procedure clinically histologically. To cite this article: Chackartchi T, Iezzi G, Goldstein M, Klinger A, Soskolne Piattelli Shapira L.
