Combustion of Propellants with Ammonium Dinitramide

摘要: This paper reports a series of experiments involving ammonium dinitramide (ADN), new energetic oxidizer potential use in composite solid propellants. The include (a) self-deflagration pressed pellets ADN; (b) combustion sandwiches with ADN laminae on both sides binder lamina that is either “pure” or filled particulate and other additives; and, (c) propellants bimodal size distribution, wherein, coarse fine AP (ammonium perchlorate) vice versa were used, addition to mixtures AP, all-ADN all-AP formulations.
