摘要: Accurate Angle of Arrival (AOA) estimation is crucial in two aspects: adaptive beam-forming smart antenna systems and object positioning ubiquitous computing applications. The AOA information essential for order to improve efficiency (e.g. throughput enhancement) transmission reception. assists the system automatically change direction radiation/reception beam pattern adapt position receiver/sender, respectively. This forming technique can maximize signal-to-interference/noise-ratio (SINR). In applications, utilized purpose with a wireless interface. However, existing algorithms incur large computational complexity or exhibit design-dependent performance. this paper, we propose simple table-driven (TAE) algorithm switched-beam system. Due its relatively low hardware cost, switched most widely implemented type systems. Simulation results show that proposed approach yields error (half angular granularity) O(1) complexity. We also demonstrated performance our TAE independent beam-coverage, beam-width side-lobe level.
