Unusual initial calcification of primary and metastatic seminomas. Detection by computed tomography.

摘要: Rare large ab initio calcifications of a primary mediastinal seminoma in 16-year-old boy and para-aortic nodal metastatic ovarian 14-year-old girl are demonstrated with CT but not conventional radiography. They most likely dystrophic because the absence other germ cell tumor components infective granulomatous disease. Routine use might detect more such untreated seminoma.
