摘要: The reaction of iron chlorides with an alkaline reagent is one the most prominent methods for synthesis oxide nanoparticles. We studied particle formation mechanism using triethanolamine as reactant and stabilizing agent. In situ fast-X-ray absorption near edge spectroscopy small-angle X-ray scattering provide information on oxidation state structural at same time. data were complemented by ex transmission electron microscopy, wide-angle Raman analysis formed maghemite nanoparticles (γ-Fe2O3) from ferric ferrous chloride was investigated. Prior to these nanoparticles, conversion intermediate phases (akaganeite, iron(II, III) hydroxides) observed which undergoes a morphological collapse. thus small magnetite (Fe3O4) grow further convert increasing
