摘要: A pulse density modulator generates output pulses that are optimized as to their even distribution over time. More particularly, the invention represents parallel or serial digital input signals binary signals, where evenly spaced time greatest extent possible. The signal includes a pattern repeats during successive “cycles.” number of in each cycle varies proportion magnitude signal. When is provided an accumulator, accumulator repeatedly updates current N-bit sum value by adding thereto. According this computation, either (1) provides first prescribed on carry if cannot be expressed N bits, (2) different can bits. having 2N bits cycle. may used digital-to-analog converter routing analog filter. Alternatively, provide trigger repeating, pulses.
