摘要: Advances in HIV prevention technologies such as the use of treatments (TasP) offer new tools fight against AIDS. This chapter examines how biomedical devices have morphed into behavioral interventions over past 30 years. Of particular interest are sterile syringes, condoms, and antibody testing; medical now thought interventions. These highly effective been stymied by politics, misguided policies, poor allocation resources, failure to invest components their use. experiences important insights could fail prevention. The concludes with recommendations for avoiding pitfalls technologies.
