摘要: Abstract The present study aims at showing the ability of ac discharges to be used as fanless blower in a rectangular channel. First, 10 mm-high channel is with four different types atmospheric air discharges: an wire-to-plate corona discharge, two dielectric barrier (DBD) and surface DBD. electrical mechanical characteristics are investigated compared. They highlight that best geometrical configuration DBD thick dielectric, allowed us induce ionic wind velocity up 3.3 m/s flow rate per unit spanwise length 24 L second meter. Secondly, this optimized reduced size (2 mm-high channel) effect downscaling on plasma actuator performances studied, efficiency decreases height.
