摘要: Medusae collected in winter and spring 2007 were analyzed a longitudinal transect made between the Boca de Guafo Elefantes Fjord, southern Chile. A total of 30 species identified, Hydromedusae (29) Scyphozoa (1), where Bougainvillia macloviana, Hybocodon chilensis, Hydractinia tenuis, Laodicea pulcra, L. undulada, Modeeria rotunda Chrysaora plocamia represent new records for area. significant increase jellyfish abundance was higher than (fourteen times higher), with 68% common both seasons. The specific diversity slightly (3.4 bits) (3.2 bits), richness instead winter, mean 5 12 species, respectively. vertical distribution showed presence surface (H. borealis), deep (A. apicata, C. peregrina R. velatum) wide bathymetric (B. muscoides B. muscus) species. Results from area compared previous results (2002-2003) thus proving that most identified are Chilean fjords channels.
