摘要: Abstract Background The integration of medical imaging into anatomical education offers advantages in understanding and learning. However, spatial orientation with conventional (2D) data is challenging, the students’ ability to imagine structures three dimensions individual. In addition, quality current volume rendering methods limited. Objective We tested Cinematic Rendering (CR), a novel visualization technique that provides photorealistic rendering, setting an interactive anatomy lecture first-year undergraduate dental students. Our goal was estimate acceptance positive effects CR adds subjects. Methods A total 120 students were surveyed specifically designed self-assessment questionnaires on use as tool education. Results Of participating (87 33 dental) large majority 95.9% (Q3) experienced helpful understand better. Overall for learning understanding, 85% saw improvement through (Q3–6) could also using self-study electronic device. Conclusion beneficial chosen (lecture) see further opportunities sensible this technique. Future research topic should include other application possibilities well.
