摘要: We have investigated the copy numbers and genomic organization of five representative reverse transcriptase domains from retrotransposons in Brassica oleracea. Two non-homologous Pseudoviridae (Ty1/copia-like) elements, two Metaviridae (Ty3/gypsy-like) elements (one related to Athila family) one Retroposinae (LINE) element were hybridized a gridded BAC library, “BoB”. The results indicated that individual LTR (copia gypsy-like) represented by between 90 320 copies haploid genome, with only evidence single location for LINE. Sequence analysis same against genome survey sequence gave estimates 60 570, but no LINE was found. There minimal clustering any these retroelements: half randomly expected number BACs both LTR-retrotransposon families. Fluorescent situ hybridization showed each retroelements had characteristic distribution. Our suggest there are preferential sites perhaps control mechanisms insertion or excision different retrotransposon groups.
