摘要: Nutritional epidemiology is the study of how diet affects health and disease in human populations, or science public nutrition. The general approach to these studies consists assessing dietary intake groups people then examining rates. Statistical models are used quantify associations between disease. A major challenge nutritional that self-reported subject random systematic bias. In addition, who adhere healthy patterns often have other lifestyle behaviors, such as engaging leisure physical activity; disentangling exposures relation outcomes difficult. Although complete elimination error assessment methods not a realistic objective, better understanding errors (based on objective biomarkers) combined with statistical address may be an attainable goal. future research should focus designs do rely measure intervention adherence outcome. These approaches include use randomized trial designs, inclusion biomarkers, biomarkers insulin resistance. Despite challenges, has made contributions recommendations well legislative policy matters related health.
