摘要: Abstract In this work, the effect of metallic nanowire coating on evaporator surface miniature loop heat pipe is investigated. Copper Nanowires (CuNW) three different diameters (∼35, ∼70 and ∼130 nm) and constant height of ∼25 µm were fabricated using electrodeposition technique surface. A dedicated holder was designed to fabricate interior section. These CuNW coated surfaces characterised for their morphology, dimensions wettability. Cavity density cavity size analysed image processing both found increase with in diameter nanowires. The micron scale cavities generated plays a vital role generating effective nucleation sites as well improving capillarity improve transfer characteristics (MLHP). As compared without any coating, an nearly 2.7 times coefficient values decrease approximately one-third thermal resistance observed surfaces. This believed due area thin-film evaporation. Enhanced like improved bubble nucleation, reduced made it possible maximum load 580 W temperature value 83 °C. paved plausible way employ these kinds nanostructured pipes cool high dissipating modern electronic equipment.
