摘要: Abstract Background Biliary complications after liver surgery are difficult to manage. Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) with stenting of the common bile duct is not commonly practiced in children for this purpose. The aim retrospective review evaluate role ERCP as both a diagnostic and therapeutic tool management biliary resection children. Patients Methods charts all patients from 0 18years old who underwent partial tertiary children's hospital Amsterdam, Netherlands, between 2000 2010 were retrospectively reviewed. Results Forty-five (median age: 3.6years, range: 2months–17years) resection. Post-operative occurred 13 Ten suffering leakage. Eight them stent placement which leakage stopped 5 patients. Rescue procedures other included hepaticojejunostomy transplant. Conclusion has leaks value stricture less conclusive.
