摘要: This book offers an in-depth study of the overall syntax (basilectal) Jamaican Creole, first since Bailey (1966). The author, a linguist, meticulously examines distributional and interpretative properties functional morphology in Creole (JC) from cartographic perspective (Cinque 1999, 2002; Rizzi 1997, 2004), thus exploring to what extent grammar JC provides morphological manifestations articulate IP, CP DP. data considered this work new evidence favour these enriched structural analyses, instances where surface orders differ underlying skeleton are accounted for terms movement operations. investigation therefore allows us conclude that 'poor' inflectional typical languages general particular does not correlate with poor architecture.
