摘要: The 20 workflow patterns proposed by van der Aalst et al. provide a comprehensive benchmark for comparing process modelling languages. In this paper, we present pattern analysis of Event-Driven Process Chains (EPCs) which is novel in its degree detailing. Building on analysis, propose three extensions to EPCs order support. These are the introduction so-called empty connector; inclusion multiple instantiation concepts; and cancellation construct. latter two inspired YAWL. Furthermore, describe how these can be represented EPC Markup Language (EPML).
