摘要: Purpose: The relationship of intratumoral mRNA levels class I and III β- tubulin isotypes with clinical response to docetaxel has been studied in breast cancer patients. Experimental Design: Expression was determined by a real-time PCR tissues obtained from 39 patients locally advanced cancers ( n = 26) or recurrent 13) before treatment. Results: Class β-tubulin responders [6.58 ± 1.43 (×10 2 ), mean SE] were significantly P 0.002) lower than those nonresponders [14.97 2.95 )], (1.38 0.40) also 0.003) (7.43 2.77). Breast divided into four groups according the expression status isotype mRNA, i.e. , I-high/class III-high group 13), III-low 7), I-low/class 12). showed very low rate (15%), whereas high (75%). intermediate rates 57% 43%, respectively. Conclusions: These results demonstrate that is associated resistance, determination would be useful prediction docetaxel.
