摘要: Abstract A new and non-invasive technique based on confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) that allows the visualization of penetrant diffusion in-situ has been developed was applied to quantify local solute dynamics in polymeric films. The effectiveness proposed demonstrated using a model penetrant, rhodamine-6G (Rh-6G), system polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) films with different degree cross-linking, content montmorillonite (MMT) clay. penetrant's transport across PVA were monitored by measuring time evolutions through thickness fluorescence intensity profiles. These profiles then converted concentration profiles, which allow coefficients (i.e. Rh-6G) be determined. methodology both single layer bilayers heterogeneity detected. Hence can multi-layer films, beneficial film developments for packaging filtration technology.
