摘要: We examined beta 2-microglobulin (B2MG) excretion, an index of tubular function, in patients with hepatorenal syndrome, whom function is generally regarded as normal. Urine B2MG was significantly higher these than control normal serum creatinine concentration. Patients high urine concentration had markedly bilirubin did values (31 +/- 3 vs. 10 8 mg%, p less 0.001), whereas prothrombin activity, albumin and were similar. A "threshold" about 23 mg% differentiated values. Renal morphology at autopsy unremarkable both groups. Tubular dysfunction, manifested by increased urinary excretion B2MG, occurs syndrome deep jaundice. This measurement cannot, therefore, be used to make a diagnosis acute injury, due aminoglycosides, such patients.
