摘要: At the close of Diplomatic Conference on Reaffirmation and Development International Humanitarian Law (Geneva, 1974–1977), representatives States party to 1949 Geneva Conventions adopted, 8 June 1977, two Protocols additional those Conventions. Following a preparatory period including intense negotiations that lasted for nearly ten years, new treaties were accepted, despite considerable obstacles, by plenipotentiaries without vote opposition. Though solutions adopted particularly controversial problems could not always suit everyone concerned, diplomats, legal advisers military experts who had taken part nevertheless every reason return their capitals with feeling satisfaction.
