摘要: Government authorities in the UK have implemented a number of anti-fuel poverty policies, given known adverse health effects associated with cold homes. To date, targeting policies has been poor, as those greatest need cannot be identified easily. Area-based platforms potential to improve these policies. We adopt an evidence-based approach, using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) techniques, develop small area fuel risk index for Northern Ireland range environmental and socio-economic variables. identify areas at highest find both large- small-scale spatial variability analyses association. Risk is open countryside medium-sized towns. Evidence concentration demonstrates that there justified rationale implementing strategies from area-based platform. This knowledge guide policy-makers cost-effectiveness
