摘要: The present study was aimed at determining the generation of ‘prostacyclin (PGI2)-like-material’ in coronary arteries from normal and diabetic (pancreatectomized) dogs as well contractile responses to prostacyclin preparations normal, insulin-treated animals. PGI2 produced a dose-dependent relaxation dogs. In contrast, those animals were not relaxed; indeed, low concentrations failed evoke any effect but higher ones it induced distinct contraction. treated with insulin, biphasic effect, which lay between that controls untreated diabetics. addition basal ‘PGI2-like-material’ by significantly (141±0.2 pg/mg, mean±SEM) than (59±0.2 pg/mg). experiments demonstrate ‘PGI2-like-substance’ is increased dogs, same vessels are unable respond added authentic relaxation; on contrary they react positive response.
