摘要: Abstract The effectiveness of a repair strategy, for damaged RC beam–column joints, that combines strain hardening cementitious composite (SHCC) and laminates carbon fiber reinforced polymers (CFRP laminates) is assessed in the present work. According to this technique, existing concrete cover joint zone frame replaced by self-compacting SHCC. This thin layer SHCC with CFRP are bonded into saw cut grooves. Two full-scale severely interior joints were retrofitted using two different configurations technique: (i) applying strengthening system only front rear faces specimen; (ii) jacketing all sides elements specimen system. these retrofitting compared evaluating experimentally hysteretic response, dissipated energy, degradation secant stiffness, displacement ductility failure modes each repaired specimen, also values indicators obtained virgin state specimens. comparison revealed adopted strategies can restore even enhance performance type structural elements, mainly when solution based on four-sided used.
