摘要: The aims of this study are 1) to construct a database using geostatistics and Geographic Information System (GIS), 2) derive the spatial relationships between manganese nodule abundance other geological factors such as metal grade, slope, water depth, topography, acoustic characteristics sub-bottom. Using GIS, it is possible analyze large amount data efficiently, maximize practical application, increase specialization, enhance accuracy analyses. greater copper nickel higher rating. distribution pattern grade similar that grade. slopes generally less than 3° except for seamounts cliff areas. rating shows no correlation with slope. highest 2.5 3.5° in block N1 4.0 4.5° N3. topography classified into five groups: seamount, hill crest, slant, base or plain, seafloor basin valley. proves lowest seamount crest. Our results show increases depth area. Nodule dose not any significant relationship thickness upper transparent layer
