摘要: Abstract A wind turbine blade design inspired by a tree seed called Triplaris Americana is presented. The was designed means of an analysis the seed’s curvature and airfoil along its wingspan ; result as non-conventional horizontal axis composed three blades. computational fluid dynamic simulation performed in order to estimate operational loads . blade’s structure composite structural design, resulting six zones with different laminates carbon fiber balance aerodynamic inertial achieved guarantee minimum change geometry prevent performance reduction. Finally, manufacturing vacuum assisted resin infusion performed. Four injections strategies were proposed them considered successful based on complete mold filling time limit imposed polymerization resin.
