摘要: To determine the mechanism of sensitivity to low-temperature exposure (20 °C for 3 h) and corticotropin-releasing factor (CRF) induced increased homeothermy, we investigated gene transcripts putative thermogenic proteins mitochondrial fatty acid (FA)-oxidation enzymes in neonatal chicks. The hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal (HPA) axis low-temperature-exposed chicks was activated by central administration CRF. Neonatal showed hypothermia on low-temperature, with no enhancement HPA avian adenine nucleotide translocator, uncoupling protein, peroxisome-proliferator-activated receptor-γ co-activator-1α, FA transport oxidation vital organs. However, CRF under low environmental temperature homeothermy that associated activities FA-oxidation liver heart.
