摘要: The Lyssavirus glycoprotein (G) is a membrane protein responsible for virus entry and protective immune responses. To explore possible roles of the in host shift or adaptation Lyssavirus, we retrieved 53 full-length gene sequences from NCBI GenBank. were different isolates over period 70 years 21 countries. Computational analyses detected 1 recombinant (AY987478, dog isolate CHAND03, genotype India) with incongruent phylogenetic support. No recombination was when AY98748 excluded analyses. We applied selection models to identify pressure on gene. One codon at amino acid residual 483 found be under weak positive marginal probability 95% by using maximum likelihood method. no significant evidence any site putative AY987478 excluded. computational suggest that G has been purifying evolution may not play role adaptation.
