摘要: Abstract Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) metastasis occurs in various organs, most frequently liver. Serological examination including tumor and biochemical markers for liver function evaluation is routinely performed, though its accuracy not high. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) have been implicated a variety of human diseases cancer, many characteristics an ideal biomarker notably their inherent stability resilience. Recently, several studies indicated that circulating miRNAs hold much potential as novel noninvasive biomarkers other disease processes. The objective this study was to investigate the serum CRC with metastasis. Methods: This divided into three phases: (I) 3 candidate were detected by using real-time RT-PCR, corresponding 38 patients 36 without (II) Marker validation RT-PCR on similar cohort age- sex-matched (n = 20) (n = 20). (III) We examined correlation between expressions clinical parameters patients. Results: Serum miR-29a significantly higher colorectal (CRLM) than marker yielded receiver operating characteristic curve area 80.3%. At cutoff value 0.155, sensitivity 75% specificity discriminating metastatic from non-metastatic In addition, increased levels expression also observed tumors CRLM compared No significant difference miR-92a Conclusions: These findings suggest has strong early detection
