摘要: A mixture of urban and hospital effluents (50 % v/v) was evaluated for ecotoxicity with an advanced bioassay battery. Mixed were tested before any treatment, af- ter biological treatment alone, after followed by a tertiary ozonation (15 mg O3/L). Laying high value on the continuance organisms’ fitness, essential to preserve healthy receiving ecosystem, main objective this study combine normalized bioassays newly developed in vivo vitro tests order assess alteration embryo development, growth reproduction, as well genotoxic effects aquatic organisms exposed complex wastewater effluents. Comparison sensitivity considered. Contrary lack toxicity observed tests, endpoints measured zebrafish embryos such developmental abnormalities genotoxicity demonstrated residual both or not O3 treatment. However, step allowed alleviate endocrine disrupting potential measure bi- ologically treated effluent. This shows that are sensitive enough ecotoxicological evaluation wastewaters there is great need development suitable characterize properly possible
