摘要: LANDIS is a spatially explicit model that uses mapped landscape conditions as starting point and projects the patterns in forest vegetation will result from alternative harvest practices, fire regimes, wind events. was originally developed for Lake States forests, but it capable of handling input, output, bookkeeping, mapping occur during simulations virtually any region. We recently calibrated Missouri Ozarks, we based calibration on combination traditional inventory data, silvics information, expert opinion. To ensure realistic performance, used data to test species dynamics establish initial conditions. Landscape simulation examples Ozarks illustrate methodology by comparing results even-aged management, uneven-aged no-harvest scenarios.
