摘要: The crystal field which surrounds a polyatomic ion in lattice acts as perturbation on the vibrational levels and influences them to large extent. It depends upon symmetry of surrounding whether degenerate may be split infra-red inactive vibrations become active. influence (face-centred) cubic-crystal borohydride ion, imbedded alkali-halides, is discussed. local group BH4− found Td solid solutions studied.
