摘要: Abstract : Progress is described in a program intended to clarify the nature of mass transport MgO through (1) growth crystals improved perfection and purity, (2) measurement cation self-diffusion rates over wide range temperatures, (3) extension diffusion measurements as close possible melting point material. Crystals MgO2 cm diameter 2 mm thickness are routinely reproducibly grown epitaxially on substrates by means chemical vapor with HCl at 1000 C. Measurements Ni(2+) have been extended 2460C (0.88 T(M)) an attempt reveal intrinsic transport. The extend 70% temperature which data for now available, but fail change mechanism. Mg26 1600- 2250C was studied. results interpreted extrinsic not accord limited literature radioisotope Mg28. Neither present studies has revealed significant difference between moderate purity best quality commercially available.
