摘要: Wood pulps, particularly sulphonate such as jack pine ultra-high-yield pulps produced by sulphonation, are readily discolored metal ions commonly found in paper mills. Additions of 0.001 to 2% on pulp dry basis tin ions, especially derived from stannous compounds, wood effectively brighten the at ambient temperature. Metal ferrous, ferric, cupric, aluminum, nickel and manganese common discoloring containing these can be brightened addition chloride, sulphate, tartrate, oxolate, stannic chloride Sn+2 being added an amount provide a ratio up about 2:1, preferably 1.5:1.
