摘要: Climate change is the defining issue of day and probably for many subsequent generations resource managers. Although public therefore policymakers have been slow in grasping far-reaching consequences climate on our social economic institutions, they are now desperately seeking options dealing with novel climates, ecological uncertainties, potential dislocations. The challenges cannot be overstated, but neither can role scientists helping provide knowledge making informed decisions. science landscape ecology, its emphasis integration holism, has an important to play informing decision makers. In this paper, I explore context managing forest landscapes.
