摘要: Abstract The search for experimental demonstration of the quantum behavior macroscopic mechanical resonators is a fast growing field investigation and recent results suggest that generation states with mass at microgram scale within reach. In this chapter we give an overview two important topics research field: cooling to motional ground state entanglement involving mechanical, optical, atomic degrees freedom. We focus on optomechanical systems where resonator coupled one or more driven cavity modes by radiation–pressure interaction. show robust stationary between output fields can be generated, transferred ensembles placed cavity. These devices are interesting candidates realization memories interfaces continuous variable quantum‐communication networks.
