摘要: A monolithic, environmentally stable Mach-Zehnder device is formed by threading first and second dissimilar optical fibers through the bore of a glass tube. The tube evacuated heated to collapse it onto fibers. further stretched at two spaced locations form couplers that are joined have different propagation constants in region between couplers, whereby there relative delay signal propagating one with respect other fiber.
