摘要: Forensic evidentiary samples routinely contain DNA from multiple contributors. The interpretation of these mixtures can be a challenging task for the scientist. Several approaches are discussed (no calculation- qualitative statement; probability exclusion; likelihood ratio estimates; presumptive genotype assignment based on peak heights), which have been employed to assess significance an inclusion/match when detected in casework samples. These statistical light technical challenges that arise evaluating detection and is routine, yet often aspect forensic analysis. This process complicated by number factors, including possible allele overlap among unknown contributors, 3-allele patterns, stochastic fluctuation with low quantity or degraded template, semi-quantitative activity Taq polymerase, microvariants primer binding sites. issues make subsequent evaluation results areas will discussed.
