摘要: A device and method for measuring a depth of interaction an ionizing event improving resolution co-planar grid sensor (CPG) are provided. time-of-occurrence is measured using comparator to time the leading edge pulse from non-collecting or collecting grid. difference signal between signals obtained with differential amplifier includes occurring at time-of-detection, another comparator. timing outputs corresponds interaction, calculated processor, which in turn weights improve spectral CPG sensor. The device, channels inputs, may be integrated into Application Specific Integrated Circuit. combination included. An improved high-resolution provided, e.g., gamma-ray Cadmium Zinc Telluride operating room temperature.
