A quest for rotating disks in high-mass star forming regions

摘要: We present ALMA observations towards two high-mass star forming regions. These reveal extended filamentary structures fragmenting into a number of dense cores. The detection multitude lines from complex molecular species permits to study the physical and kinematic properties three Signposts Keplerian rotation are identified suggest presence disks rotating about stars with masses 4–18 M ⊙ . results likely confirm that B-type form via disk-mediated accretion, set stage for quest similar toward most massive O-type stars.
