摘要: BACKGROUND: The surgical robot has emerged as a potentially useful tool in microsurgery. purpose of this study was to develop validated assessment instrument and assess the learning curve for robotic authors hypothesized that subjects would demonstrate improvement across multiple domains performance with repetition microsurgical tasks. METHODS: In part 1, novel called Structured Assessment Robotic Microsurgical Skills tested. Four blinded expert evaluators graded six microsurgery videos interrater reliability determined. 2, cohort 10 participants at various skill levels performed five microvascular anastomoses. All 50 sessions were subjected blind evaluation using instrument. Primary outcome measures included changes operative time over sessions, scores all areas. RESULTS: Interrater excellent each area, demonstrated by Cronbach alpha greater than 0.9 category evaluators. areas improved significantly participants, decreased course study. results showed an initial steep ascent technical acquisition followed more gradual improvement, steady decrease short 9 minutes. CONCLUSIONS: Microsurgery is valid assessing skill. Subjects training, ranging from minimal experience microsurgeons, gained proficiency sessions.
