摘要: Abstract Dissolved organic matter (DOM) has been added to an existing biogeochemical model and the phytoplankton were allowed utilize dissolved nutrients for primary production. The results show typical vertical structures carbon (DOC), improved or maintained skill both mean profiles seasonal variation of variables, evaluated by objective metrics. Due scarce DOM measurements in Baltic Sea it was hard validate new but can recreate general magnitude distribution terrestrial situ produced DOC, DON, DOP, as far we know them. improvements are especially clear total nutrient levels recreating biological drawdown CO 2 Eastern Gotland basin. Without uptake nitrogen phosphate, assimilation is lower during summer months partial pressure increases about 200 μatm Basin, while Bothnian Bay, duration halved. Thus lowers pCO basins. Variations river transported concentration mainly affect cyanobacteria bloom.
