摘要: This paper identifies and analyzes three constructs basic to the study of gender relations–boundaries, negotiation domination, consciousness. The concept boundaries describes complex structures–physical, social, ideological, psychological–which establish differences commonalities between women arid men, among women, men. reciprocal processes domination elucidate ways in which men act support and/or challenge existing system relations. While systems control coercion, addresses bargain for privileges resources. Consciousness assumes various forms ranging from awareness feminist/anti-feminist consciousness, is conceived as a process develops dialectically social relations sexes.
