摘要: The primary objective of this research was to determine whether results obtained with laboratory-scale rapid rate filtration low turbidity waters could be duplicated during full-scale operation. With the aid two field-scale pilot filters, it verified that, using proper chemical coagulation, can remove high percentages microscopic particles, including Giardia cysts. Although temperatures have in past been thought hinder treatment waters, suggest that as efficient at 32°F (0°C) higher temperatures.
