Working and learning together: good quality care depends on it, but how can we achieve it?

摘要: Educating healthcare professionals is a key issue in the provision of quality services, and interprofessional education (IPE) has been proposed as means meeting this challenge. Evidence that collaborative working can be essential for good clinical outcomes underpins real need to find out how best develop work force together effectively. We identify barriers mounting successful IPE programmes, report on recent educational initiatives have aimed working, discuss lessons learned. To strategies really prepare learners collaborate we must: agree goals IPE, effective methods delivery, establish what should learned when, attend needs educators clinicians regarding their own competence work, advance our knowledge by robust evaluation using both qualitative quantitative approaches. must ensure allow students recognise, value, engage with difference arising from practice range health professionals.
