摘要: Juvenility and flowering requirements of Coreopsis grandiflora Hogg ex Sweet. 'Sunray' C. lanceolata L. 'Early Sunrise' were examined by growing plants under short days (SD) transferring them to long (LD) upon reaching the designated true leaf stages. Neither cultivar flowered in continuous SD, remained vegetative LD. However, LD induced each count treatment loss juvenility was gradual, with most rapid occurring when transferred at 16 stage. The limited inductive photoperiod (LIP) inhibited stem elongation all treatments selectively axillary flower bud development compared grown LIP did not affect scape length first even though plant height significantly diminished if given relatively few before transfer SD. Height reduction attributed inhibition no significant potential.
